Michael Hadfield OBE

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Michael Hadfield OBE.

Michael was one of the very first trustees of CP Teens UK and was instrumental in getting charity status for the organisation. A lifelong close friend of Founder, Ellie’s, family, Michael always took a keen interest in Ellie and was a big supporter of both her & CP Teens UK.

Michael first got directly involved with CP Teens UK in 2015 when he closely assisted with setting up the governance of the charity and with achieving charity status. On 16th March 2017, CP Teens UK became registered charity number 1172105.

Michael, who was a valued & experienced trustee, accepted the role without hesitation when he was asked by Ellie & Debbie (Chair of the Trustees) if he would sit on the Board.

Michael sat on the Board of Trustees until 2019 just before his 80th birthday. After stepping down as a trustee, Michael continued to follow & support CP Teens UK.

We will always remember Michael for his input, support & love to CP Teens UK, and especially in the pivotal early days where he showed great enthusiasm & belief in Ellie’s vision for the charity, and subsequently helped make it happen.
