Mount Snowdon wasn't to be for Alex

The weather in Wales unfortunately had other ideas today for Alex climbing Mount Snowdon!

After several falls, gale force winds up to 70mph and torrential rain, Alex along with her partner Elliott had to abort reaching the summit this morning!

But! Even though Alex & Elliott couldn’t reach the summit, with the battle of the elements & several falls, we are sure that everyone will agree that their challenge & efforts are now even more impressive! Not many people would try and battle to the top of a mountain in the conditions that they faced!

Alex said: 

“The weather really wasn’t on our side today! After 2 and a half hours of battling the downpour of rain and crazy winds, we decided it was too dangerous to continue! We made it 3/4 of the way up and we are so proud of our efforts! You’ve not defeated us yet Snowdon, we’ll be back for round 2! Nevertheless, we’ve managed to raise a great amount of money for such a worthy cause!”
