CP Teens UK is excited to announce its new social group, Uni-Verse!
Uni-Verse is a social group where physically disabled students and graduates can come together to share experiences, build friendships, and chat.
Whether you're just about to start your uni journey, in the middle of it, or figuring out life after graduation, this group is for you.
This community is open to people who:
Have cerebral palsy or a physical disability
Are starting uni, currently studying, or have graduated
Attend a university in England, Wales, or Scotland, or are living in those countries post-graduation
What is Uni-Verse?
It’s not a support group (though we’re always supportive). It’s not a study group (though we do celebrate your wins). It’s a social space — relaxed, informal, and fun.
Uni-Verse will meet online once a month for chats, and will provide the chance to connect with people who understand what it’s like to juggle university life and beyond with a physical disability.
Looking for face-to-face connection too? We’ve got plans for in-person socials once a semester, with potential meetups in the North (like Sheffield) and South (like London). These meetups will depend on demand and volunteer support.
Why join?
Because navigating uni life and beyond with a physical disability can feel isolating, but it doesn’t have to be. Uni-Verse is here to bring together like-minded people who’ve walked, 'wobbled' or wheeled a similar path. It’s a chance to make genuine friendships, share your journey, and build a social network where you don’t have to explain the basics.
So whether you're wanting the laughs, the chats, or the potential road trips, join the Uni-Verse!
