Update: CP Teens UK

As you will be aware, CP Teens UK is currently taking a semi-hiatus period to review our services & initiatives following being banned for a period of a year (April 2024-April 2025) on social media by Meta. We have been going 10-years and in this time, the needs & wants of youngsters have changed. We recognise that what was relevant then, isn’t necessarily relevant now and what we offer & deliver needs rethinking. We have listened and we have heard that a lot of initiatives are repetitive and are no longer what young people want.

The social media ban is, simply put, ludicrous. However, this enforced semi-hiatus period long term will be a positive to the charity as we've had to stop, look & rethink.

It is now October 2024 - we're already halfway through this period and we're still here working behind the scenes. We did say that Chit & Chat would run as normal during this period. However, unfortunately clashing work commitments up until Christmas 2024 for volunteer staff members mean that sadly it is not possible despite our best efforts to run the Autumn 2024 block.

We will continue to work hard behind the scenes and the goal still remains to return in 2025 with fresh offerings and a new way of working. We now plan to return Chit & Chat in the new year.

Chit & Chat is probably our core service - accessed around the UK by youngsters from the comfort of their home to chat, laugh and connect with other youngsters who share similar paths & experiences. We are acutely aware of how important this service is and we apologise for any disappointment at the absence of the Autumn 2024 block.
